This year UTS Architecture hosted the inaugural ‘16/16 Festival of Architecture & Landscape’.
16/16 replaced the exhibitionary orientation of INDEX with a new focus on the energy of reviews and conversational programming. Running over three days 16/16 showcased work from studies in Architecture (BDesArch and MArch) and Landscape Architecture (BLArch), alongside roundtables, juries and parties. Events included a ‘Supercrit’ including guest critics, faculty and students, a 10 Buildings round-table discussion, publication launches, student pecha kucha as well as student programming such as discussions on Women in Architecture and on the Sirius Building.
16/16 was curated by William Feuerman, Dane Voorderhake, Endriana Audisho, Kim Angangan, Delia Naude and Amaia Sanchez Velasco.
A big special thankyou to sponsors along with David Hamilton, Tran Dang, Owen Cramp and Lily Hodgson of OCLH [Graphic Designers] and other dedicated UTS staff and student Volunteers.
